In one of my previous posts (Recruiters, Please Be More Specific) I highlighted a problem in the technical recruiting industry that recruiters can be too vague when sending out introductory emails to potential candidates. I certainly understand that recruiters need to cast a wide enough net to attract as much interest as possible but without any details they risk not attracting any interest at all. I recently received an email from a technical recruiter. It said, “I have a great developer role I am working right now. I wanted to reach out to you to see if you may be interested in hearing more.
